About Edie (she/her/they)
A Safe Space for Change, Growth, and Coming Back to Yourself
If you've found your way here, there's a good chance you've spent a long time taking care of everyone else.
You've been the responsible one. The helper. The person others rely on. You may have spent years managing work, relationships, family responsibilities, caregiving, and countless expectations—often putting your own needs at the bottom of the list.
And lately, you may be realizing that something needs to change.
Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you're navigating a major life transition, relationship challenges, ADHD, burnout, or simply wondering who you are beneath all the roles you've carried for so long.
If any of that resonates, you're in the right place.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be a place where you can exhale.
A place where you don't have to perform, explain away your feelings, or pretend you're holding everything together.
My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you better understand yourself, identify what's keeping you stuck, and support you in creating meaningful change that feels authentic and sustainable.
Together, we'll explore patterns that no longer serve you, build practical coping tools, strengthen self-compassion, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside while caring for everyone else.
I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, honesty, and humor. I believe growth happens when we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves.
Why I Do This Work
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in higher education, academic advising, counseling, and training. Across those roles, one thing remained consistent: I was drawn to helping people navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and move toward more fulfilling lives.
Today, I bring more than 20 years of professional experience into my therapy practice.
I also bring lived experience.
I understand what it feels like to struggle with ADHD, perfectionism, people-pleasing, sensitivity, and the lingering effects of difficult life experiences. I know what it's like to question yourself, to feel overwhelmed, and to work hard to find healthier ways of moving through the world.
Those experiences don't make me an expert on your life. But they do allow me to approach our work together with empathy, understanding, and a deep respect for how difficult change can be.
Who I Work Best With
Many of my clients are women in midlife who feel overwhelmed by the weight of everything they're carrying.
They may be navigating:
Anxiety and chronic stress
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Life transitions and identity shifts
Relationship struggles and boundary issues
Caregiving responsibilities
Perfectionism and people-pleasing
Feeling disconnected from themselves after years of putting others first
These women are often compassionate, capable, intelligent, and incredibly hard on themselves.
Therapy gives them a place to slow down, reflect, and begin creating a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and fulfilling.
Therapy That Feels Human
Clients often describe me as calm, grounded, relatable, and easy to talk to.
I don't believe therapy requires perfection, polished answers, or having everything figured out. I believe it requires honesty, courage, and a willingness to start where you are.
You don't have to do this alone.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply ready for something to change, I'd be honored to support you.
